KEY HIGHLIGHTS
As the MD of the Impressionist and modern Art Division Nazy was part of the core senior team consigning and selling masterpieces through auction and private sale. Key works by Monet, Picasso, Degas, Mondrian, Klimt, Magritte, Modigliani, Van Gogh, Miro and Matisse amongst others regularly passed through the department.
Handled many international high profile auctions and collections
Part of the senior team that achieved the first £100m evening auction in London
Launched and ran ‘Sotheby’s Preferred’ – the Company’s top-tier client programme aimed at engaging with UHNW art patrons.
Developed and set selling strategies for international offices including re-launching auctions in Paris and Geneva.
Co-ran ‘Beyond Limits’ at Chatsworth House
Extensive experience in the jewellery division, including the first selling exhibitions in St Moritz and development of the retail concept that is now ‘Sotheby’s Diamonds
Involved in Photography and Design sales from the early 1990s
Served as a Trustee of the Sotheby’s Pension Scheme for 7 years
Worked in nearly every division in the company giving her an in-depth knowledge of auctions, collection management, selling strategies, marketing and financial strategies
Ran the business function of Sotheby’s global departments: Imps/Mod, Contemporary, Old Masters & Jewellery
