Business of Art Ltd. grew out of love for art and the joy of collecting. We have over 30 years of experience in the international art world and we aim to marry up the aesthetic to the investment, whilst offering independent advice with an emphasis on connoisseurship and expertise.

Acquisitions
We offer a wide range of services to help individuals and corporates establish, develop and manage their collection.
We are as delighted to work with someone or an entity beginning their collecting journey as we are with those wishing to expand their collection. We research and source works and negotiate on our client’s behalf. We can participate and represent our clients at auctions and art fairs to ensure a one stop service and client confidentiality.
Long term relationships with galleries, auction houses and artists have been instrumental in international sourcing and placement of works.
Having worked for 19 years at a major auction house and also a large art fair has equipped us with key insights and knowledge in the complex mechanics of the ‘murky’ art world. We have knowledge, expertise and are experienced with a wide network equipping us to give independent advice and develop strategies.
Management
We manage all aspects once acquisitions are made including shipping, installation and lighting.
We help with reappraisals and terms when required.
Dispersal
Whether, when and how to sell a work of art is a key and complex consideration for any collector and with a clear perspective on market conditions gained from a lifetime in the art world, we help clients navigate the options available.
Curation
We are experienced art curators and can curate collections working with private clients, corporate clients, and architects/interior architects. Each year we curate Eye of the Collector fair, a unique platform without booths juxtaposing art works against interesting architectural backdrops. (eyeofthecollector.com).
